If you enjoy planning parties, writing letters, or want to help raise awareness of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and corticobasal generation (CBD) – become a volunteer with CurePSP! Many fundraising events and public relations activities are very easy to plan and won’t take up much of your time. We can provide a variety of materials to help make your event a success, as well as press kits to help you spread the word about PSP in your community. If you would like to plan a fundraising event or help with our public awareness efforts, please contact the following personnel and they will be delighted to speak with you and discuss your options.

  • Nashville Country Music Half Marathon
    April 24, 2010
    Nashville, Tennessee

Special thanks to Justin Shea, Meghan Denoyer and friends, who will run for a cure in the above community-based marathon in honor of Justin’s father who was diagnosed with PSP in March of 2009. This group will be amongst 35,000 participants as they run 13.1 miles to help create awareness about CurePSP. Meghan, Justin and his sisters, Courtney Jones and Mackenzie Shea, are currently collecting donations to support our vital programs and services.

If you would like to support these wonderful people in their fundraising efforts, you can click on the link below or mail your donation to the attention of K.M. Speca at the CurePSP Office. Please make checks payable to CurePSP with a note that the donation is in support of Justin Shea – Nashville Half Marathon.

Way to go Justin, Meghan and friends! We wish you a safe run. Thank you ~
