Spring Community Weekend
We’re excited to invite you to the CurePSP Spring Community Weekend in Detroit, Michigan from Thursday, May 1st, to Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. This inspiring weekend includes two key events:
Community Care Conference
Thursday, May 1 - Friday, May 2
Held at the Fort Pontchartrain - a Wyndham Hotel, the Community Care Conference is a two-day educational event presented in partnership with the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. Attendees will enjoy interactive discussions, legacy-building workshops, and panels on topics such as updates on treatments and trials, accessible chair yoga, CurePSP resources, and much more. In addition to the educational programming, the conference will feature a welcome reception, a fun trivia night, and an ice cream social. This is an incredible opportunity to connect with others navigating PSP, CBD, and MSA. The agenda and speakers can be found on the registration page!
Run for Hope 5K & 1-Mile Walk
Saturday, May 3
Taking place on Saturday, May 3, the inaugural Run for Hope 5K & 1-Mile Walk will be held along the scenic Detroit Riverwalk, just 1 mile (or a 20-minute walk) from the Fort Pontchartrain hotel. The event is accessible to all participants, including walkers, wheelchair users, kids, and runners. After the race, join us for a lively post-race party featuring music, lawn games, food trucks, and interactive activities to foster and celebrate our community.
