We at CurePSP recognize that many of you coping with the struggles and challenges that PSP and other neurodegenerative diseases present may be facing even greater isolation, stress, and anxiety brought on by the COVID-19 virus. We have been working diligently since the onset of this crisis to make sure that we are able to support the CurePSP community through this time with increased one-on-one attention, opportunities to connect, and access to useful links to resources to help manage feelings of anxiety and stress.
Our Director of Clinical Affairs, Lawrence I. Golbe, MD, has written on the impact of the COVID-19 virus and patients with PSP and other neurological diseases. For those that may have missed our memo from last week regarding COVID-19, we recommend that you read this. We must take to heart and follow Dr. Golbe’s recommendations as well as the local, state, and federal healthcare guidelines to combat this virus.
We have also provided some links and resources on how to manage increased feelings of stress and anxiety during this difficult time. Please know that CurePSP is committed to providing you with the support and information you need to remain hopeful, healthful and safe.
