“This is a significant milestone for CurePSP,” says Kristophe Diaz, Executive Director and Chief Science Officer at CurePSP. “‘The Collective Mind’ will delve into groundbreaking research, innovative therapies, transformative stories and courageous people at the forefront of research, patient care and resilience. Moreover, many of our community members are challenged in their vision and their ability to read. It is therefore crucial to have access to information via audio, and this is a great path towards that. We are thrilled to highlight the dedicated scientists, clinicians, and advocates who are pioneering advancements in understanding and treating this complex disease.”

The show is hosted by Oscar Sullivan, a writer and journalist known for his written work highlighting community members, researchers and patients. The episodes will emphasize the vast network of resources available from CurePSP, and explore topics ranging from the latest cutting-edge research to care partner reflections and advice from this journey. “The Collective Mind” hopes to amplify awareness and make these rare diseases a little more manageable. Through his clear storytelling, Oscar will turn complex topics into valuable lessons and insights.

Guests will include Bob Weide, a screenwriter, producer and an Executive Director of the TV series Curb Your Enthusiasm, Dr. Jessica Rexach, Assistant Professor of Neurology at UCLA, and Dr. Maura Malpetti, Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
